October Annual Meeting 2024 Minutes
The annual meeting of the Knolls Village Townhouse Association was held on Tuesday October 8, 2024 at 7:30 PM. Present were Directors Darcy Johnson Yvonne Anderson Margie Nowick Anne Waite Tom Zukas Scott Ward. Director Phillip Andrews was not present.
Scott Ward recorded the proceedings.
Scott Ward, President, provided a summary of the projects and events for 2024. There will be no dues increase for the calendar year 2025. The Community Pool was open for the entire season plus an additional two weeks. A significant increase in interest income was achieved since moving our Reserve Funds away from RBC Wealth Management. The funds are secure in two locations, FirstBank and Chase. We had a rough start to the lawn sprinkler season by finding oil in the piping. A very special thank you to Cady and Warren for working so hard to bring the system online. Sidewalks and curbs are being replaced due to drainage and safety concerns. Metro Pavers has been on site for the last two days, replacing a driveway and mill and overlay another.
Special thanks were expressed to a wealth of individuals on the Board, in the Community, the KVTA Staff and Cindy Kiel for pool registrations.
There were no nominations from the floor.
Vice President Darcy Johnson then called for attendees to cast their votes for the two Director positions. Ballots were collected and along with proxies all votes were tabulated. A total of 87 votes were cast for Jennifer Stokes and Chrissy Krumholz. There were 67 proxies and 20 votes from those present.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:27 PM
