Darla Rae is a longtime filmmaker, and KTVA resident, who began acting on stage at age 8 before moving into her first film as an extra in John Carpenter’s Halloween. She founded Film It Productions in 1998, producing nearly 100 award-winning projects including documentaries, narratives, shorts, and music videos. Her work has screened worldwide, on platforms like Amazon Prime, YouTube, and Roku, and even before the U.S. Congress. In addition to her filmmaking career, Darla has 20+ years of experience in managing multi-million-dollar contracts and management for aerospace companies. She was honored in 2013 with Denver’s inaugural award for excellence in the arts for global impact.
